I Am
I am Compassion and Dedication.
I wonder how to help children see their potential as clearly as I do. I hear too much talking and not enough doing lately. I see hope, resilience, and beauty. I want to completely reshape the landscape of education. I am Compassion and Dedication I pretend I can sing well every time I am alone in the car. I feel overwhelming, boundless love for my daughters. I touch the world through uplifting one student at a time. I worry about the political divisiveness and lack of harmony in our country. I cry when my children are in pain, emotionally or physically...and at any commercials depicting mistreated animals. I am Compassion and Dedication I understand there is a limit to how much I can help my students when they've experienced a traumatic event in their lives...even though it breaks my heart I can't help them more. I say always live by The Golden Rule. I dream of a Coke with no calories that actually tastes like a real COKE. I try to practice patience and putting a leash on my sarcasm. (It's all in good fun, but some folks really don't get sarcasm!) I hope for peace, love, prosperity, harmony, laughter, and, more than anything, to see my children happy and fulfilled now and when they are grown. I am Compassion and Dedication. |
